The individual under suspicion was transported to the medical facility, however, they were pronounced deceased upon reaching

During a media conference at Jamaica Hospital, authorities verified that they got an emergency call at 5:10 in the morning local time, or 10:10 GMT. The call was from a young woman who said her cousin was murdering her relatives.

A pair of policemen were dispatched to the location on Beach 22nd Street, where they observed a man exiting with baggage.

As the police attempted to engage the man in conversation, he brandished a knife, inflicting wounds on one officer's neck and chest, and injuring another officer on the head.

An officer managed to draw his gun and fired at the person under suspicion.

Additional police were sent to the location, where they discovered a girl of 11 years old at the home's entrance. She was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries.

When the New York Fire Department reached the location, the emergency team discovered the remains of three individuals inside the residence: a boy of 12, a woman aged 44, and a man in his 30s.

A woman of 61 years was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, having suffered from numerous stab injuries.

At the moment of the assault, he was with his relatives in Queens.

Authorities stated that the inquiry is still underway, however, the individual who dialed 911 is currently being questioned at the police department.
