Resolution Games, the game studio behind virtual reality and mixed reality hits like Demeo, announced its Spatial Ops mixed reality game is ready for pre-order.

The game, which will have a single-player campaign, is set to launch later this year as a mixed reality (MR) experience. You can pre-order it today for a 25% off pre-order discount off its price of $20 in the Meta Horizon Store.

“This game is all about capturing the magic of all that mixed reality has to offer – including blending the game into the player’s real world with no clear distinction between the two,” said Tommy Palm, CEO of Resolution Games, in a statement. “In Spatial Ops, agents will face enemies in Arena Mode coming out at them from behind a wall and hiding behind their own furniture in their real space while bullets hit the walls and grenades bouncing off of their real furniture – it’s a mind blowing experience comparable to nothing else.”

Palm added, “And now we are thrilled to share with players that in addition to the Arena version for a larger group of friends, players will also be able to play a single-player campaign mode for agents to experience the ultimate mixed reality experience solo as portals to other dimensions spawn around them.”

At launch, the game will have an arena mode where you compete with and against friends or bots  in the multiplayer battle mode where no one is safe. You can map out an entire floor plan for laser-tag-like play. You can play co-located 1v1 up to 4v4 in different game modes like Free for All, Team Deathmatch, Capture the flag and Domination.

And it will also have a single-player campaign mode where you can discover the full story behind the warfare. It’s a two-hour single player experience, set in an 80s action/sci-fi movie-inspired setting. You take on the role of agent throughout seven handcrafted levels with a fully narrated story as portals spawn around you from every angle. Develop as a character by unlocking and upgrading your weapons as you set out to save the world.

To get the latest news on Spatial Ops, Meta Quest players can add to their wishlists or pre-order now in the Meta Horizon Store for a 25%-off discount.
