Ultenic has launched the MC1, a robot vacuum and mop with a self-cleaning docking station. The intelligent dock can keep your floors and the device clean for up to 90 days, so you don’t need to lift a finger. Other features include up to 5,000 Pa suction power, a carpet detection tool and app or voice controls.
Ultenic has launched the MC1 Robot Vacuum And Mop in the US and the EU. The device has up to 5,000 Pa suction power, which the company suggests is sufficient to tackle pet hair and stray food. Plus, the mop can rotate up to 180 times per minute and applies 6N downward pressure for a thorough clean.
The robot has a self-emptying docking station, allowing up to 90 days of hands-free cleaning. The intelligent dock can empty the dust bag and wash and dry the mop with hot air. LiDAR technology enables the device to find its way around your home, and a carpet sensor boosts suction power and ensures the mop is lifted if fabric is detected to avoid mistakenly wetting the fabric. You can control the gadget via the accompanying app, alter the map of your home, schedule future cleans, and adjust settings, including those relating to self-cleaning.
Alternatively, you can control the robot vacuum with Siri, Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa voice commands. The model is 3.88-in (~99 mm) tall and 13.94-in (~354 mm) wide. You can now buy the Ultenic MC1 Robot Vacuum And Mop for the discounted price of $679.99/€679.99; the product will eventually retail for $799.99/€799.99.
