Kendall Jenner’s Cape Obsession Rages On

Date:

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s Kendall Jenner! The model has been in a cape phase as of late, albeit not like kids who won’t leave the house unless they’re wearing a full Batman costume. Jenner, instead, has taken a very chic approach, rocking two of the most in-demand brands in a week. Just last week, she modeled the highly sought-after Phoebe Philo caped bomber jacket. And last night, Jenner left Wally’s in Beverly Hills wearing a coat from Bottega Veneta’s spring 2024 collection.

She wore a buttery camel leather coat lined with a delicate plaid fabric, the cape slung around her neck and draped over her shoulder. Unlike the model, who was styled in black trousers and burgundy heels, Jenner opted for sheer black tights, which she paired with a pair of black pointy-toed pumps. In keeping with her simplistic, pared-down style, the 818 founder’s only accessory was her brown intrecciato leather clutch.

Recently, Jenner—along with A$AP Rocky—was revealed to have been participating in a (somewhat) organic paparazzi campaign for Bottega Veneta, offering some logic to her many recent outfits that deviated from her signature style. So you’d have to forgive us for wondering if this outing was more of the same. When asked for comment, a rep for Bottega told Vogue that the images were not related to the recently launched pre-spring campaign. Regardless, Jenner looks the part of a true convert.
