The Lenovo ThinkVision 27 3D monitor goes on sale in February 2024 for $2,999. It lets creators view models in 3D space without 3D glasses, thanks to its eye tracker and lenticular lens combination.
Lenovo showed off the ThinkVision 27 3D monitor at IFA 2023 earlier this year. It is a niche product tailor-made for a specific subset of users needing such features. Hence, it comes with an exorbitant $2,999 price tag and can be bought in February 2024.
The ThinkVision 27 3D monitor features a 27-inch IPS LCD panel with a 310 nits peak brightness, 99% DCI-P3, 99% Adobe RGB, 110% sRGB and 11% BT 709 colour gamut coverage. It is colour-calibrated out of the factory, and Lenovo claims its ∆E values are lesser than one out of the box.
Other ThinkVision 27 3D monitor specs include a 2D resolution of 2,160 x 3,840 pixels and a 3D resolution of 1,920 x 2,160 pixels. It is a glassless 3D monitor that creates a 3D image using a switchable lenticular lens with eye-tracking. Using said features will require a system with at least an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050, Intel Core i5-7400, 50 GB of hard drive space and 8 GB of memory. Additionally, it only works with Windows-based systems (Windows 10 or higher).
Lenovo has also thrown in a decked-out USB hub in the ThinkVision 27 3D monitor. There is 1x upstream USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port, 1x downstream USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port, four USB Type-A ports and one USB Type-C port that can charge peripherals at up to 100 Watts. Other than that, there are two HDMI and one DP port.
