Patrick Mahomes’ mom was loud and clear about who she’s supporting in the 2024 presidential election.
Randi Mahomes wore a red “Make America Great Again” hat to Monday night’s Kansas City Chiefs vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers game at Arrowhead Stadium, per a video posted by OutKick on X.
“Make America great again. Let’s do it. Woo!” the matriarch proudly cheered while standing in a VIP suite.
Randi’s hat, which she paired with a red Chiefs sweater, was an obvious endorsement of Republican candidate Donald Trump.
Patrick’s mom seemingly shares the same political views as daughter-in-law Brittany Mahomes, who subtly showed support for the former president earlier this year.
In August, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, 29, clapped back at haters after she allegedly “liked” Trump’s post promoting his GOP campaign platform.
“I mean honestly … To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood,” Brittany posted on her Instagram Story amid the backlash.
“There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.”
Weeks later, Trump thanked the “beautiful” soon-to-be mom of three for “strongly defending” him against the critics.
“I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country,” he posted on Truth Social in September.
Trump also called Brittany and Patrick, 29, a “great couple.”
The NFL quarterback, however, refused to share his political beliefs publicly when asked by reporters that same month.
“I’ve always said, I don’t want my place and my platform to be used to endorse a candidate or do whatever, either way,” Patrick said at a press conference.
“I think my place is to inform people to get registered to vote,” he continued. “It’s to inform people to do their own research and then make the best decision for them and their family.”
“Whenever I’m hanging out with whoever, I’m not thinking about their political views or anything like that,” the Super Bowl champion added.
