There are a lot of great options here, but it’s hard to ignore the deals on multiple models from Beats (now part of Apple) because of their easy integration for iPhone users. I’ve used the Beats Studio Pros for years because of their “transparency mode,” which allows you to change the noise cancellation setting with the touch of a button. That allows to seamlessly switch between rocking out to a gym playlist and having a conversation with a training partner.
These Bose QuietComforts are one of the better deals we’ve seen in awhile. This over-the-ear pair not only fit easy, but they also sound amazing, which is to be expected from Bose.
Since we’re on the topic of Apple connectivity, it doesn’t really get better than Airpods in that regard. There are plenty of different versions of AirPods out there, but the AirPod Pro 2s stand out when it comes to their ability to noise-cancel and their enhanced water resistance, for those sweatier sessions.
I have also been rocking the Jabra Elite 8 Active for a few years during my workouts. As far as fitting in your ear, I haven’t experienced anything better than Jabra. I’ve talked to a few people who have never been able to use earbuds before, who find success with Jabras. Rounding out the list is the Shokz OpenRun Pro, a great open-ear option for anyone looking to get headphones for runs or biking, while staying alert.
