Weekly Quests

The latest weekly quests in Fortnite.

The easiest way to get a huge chunk of XP in Fortnite is to do your weekly quests. Every week, Fortnite releases a set of challenges that you can check under your Quests tab. These can be anything from thanking the bus driver, using certain weapons, to looting various places, but generally, they’re quite easy to complete.

Depending on the quest, some will give you 15,000 XP upon completion, with more complicated ones rewarding you with 30,000 XP. Also, some of the more general quests can be completed in Team Rumble mode if the Battle Royale mode is too long for you.

Match Quests

You get to choose a quest at the beginning of your match.

Match quests have replaced Daily quests that used to appear in Fortnite. At the beginning of your match, you will be given three quest options. No need to worry if you don’t manage to complete your chosen quest throughout your Battle Royale match though.

The next time you jump into a match, you’ll be able to select one of the new options. These may not reward you as much as the weekly quests, but they’re still worth completing to get extra XP.

Milestones

Any milestones are best when you complete them passively.

Milestones are a bit different than the weekly and match quests, as these lean more toward long-term quests due to their difficulty. Some of the milestones require you to outlast your opponents, survive storm circles, eliminate others, and so on.

In total, there are ten stages that will give you 5,000 XP for every stage you complete. Since they’re a bit harder to complete, it’s recommended that you prioritize completing the other quests first.

Survivor Medals

Another way to get more XP in Fortnite is by completing Survivor Medals. These are essentially quests that are divided into several tiers, starting from Common all the way to Mythic. A lot of these quests involve having a certain amount of eliminations and outlasting your enemies.

The requirement gets significantly harder the more quests you complete, but you’ll be rewarded 20,000 XP for every stage and a free Llama back bling. Who would say no to a free cosmetic?

Play Different Modes

Fortnite Festival gameplay.

With the addition of new game modes like LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival, Fortnite has been encouraging players to step outside their comfort zone in the Battle Royale and try them out. Nowadays, a lot of the quests in the game span throughout multiple modes, and they’re not too hard to complete either.

For example, you can easily get XP by finishing a song in Fortnite Festival or gathering resources in LEGO Fortnite. If you’ve been one-tricking Battle Royale since forever, now’s a good time to try to pick up these modes and get those easy XP.

Team Up with Friends

Teamwork makes the dream work.

Sometimes, you’d stumble upon certain quests that can be quite a challenge to complete. Thankfully, the best thing about Fortnite quests is that they are not restricted to you. If you’re playing in a group, your friends can also contribute to your quests as long as you are close by.

Other than that, if you have a new or returning friend playing Fortnite, you can participate in completing the Reboot Rally quests together. Not only do these reward you with XP, but you’ll also get free cosmetics by completing them.

Buying levels cost V-Bucks in Fortnite.

Buying extra levels in Fortnite is one way to level up in a matter of seconds, but you’ll need to spend V-Bucks for this. There’s no denying that this can be a hard decision for some players, so if you must, wait until the season is almost over in case you might complete the Battle Pass in time. Using the free V-Bucks you get from your Battle Pass is also an option if you’re not planning to save it up.

Win the Battle Royale

Finally, when you win a Battle Royale in Fortnite, you’ll be rewarded with extra XP due to your performance. You also get to wear a golden crown on your next match, indicating that you were the winner of the previous Battle Royale.

As long as you have the crown with you, you’ll get extra XP. Just be careful though, since other players can see this clearly, they’ll most likely target you to get your crown. Make sure you know some of the best tips to consistently become the last person standing.

That sums up all you need to know about how to level up fast in Fortnite. Overall, we recommend prioritizing the weekly quests, followed by match quests and the rest as they’re the easiest and give the most XP. You should be able to earn levels in no time the more you complete these quests.
