Everything You Need to Know About Love Is Blind Season 6

Date:

preview for Love Is Blind season 6 date announcement (Netflix)

CAN YOU BELIEVE there have already been six seasons of Love Is Blind? The show first premiered in 2020, and through the years has helped numerous couples find love. But, of course, with all of the romance also came drama.

Over the course of the show, both men and women made TV villains of themselves, like Season 3’s Shake, or Season 4’s Micah and Irina. Season 5 also had a major shock with an exes reveal from Lydia and Uche, which contributed to Uche’s number one match leaving the show entirely.

Love Is Blind hasn’t evaded its own controversies though, with multiple lawsuits against Netflix and the show’s production companies due to poor working conditions and even sexual assault allegations on set, as Texas Monthly has reported. Season 5 in particular had a notable news cycle around contestant Renee, who made it out of the pods with her partner, but was later cut from the show. Yikes. Despite the unsavory headlines, however, Netflix is going full steam ahead with the next season, which will hopefully be filled with more standard-fare television drama.

Whether you loved Season 5 or hated it, Love Is Blind has without a doubt become a Netflix mainstay. There’s no way it’s not coming back for another season. In fact, Netflix has announced the show is renewed through Season 7. So we’ll have at least two more seasons of relationships mayhem to look forward to.

Here’s everything you should know about Love Is Blind Season 6.
