During a Sunday conversation with Laura Kuenssberg at the COP28 climate conference, Ndileka Mandela expressed her concern that the wealthier nations are leveraging their financial and legal strength to dominate poorer countries, which are suffering the most from the impacts of climate change.

"She further noted that Africa and the global south contribute the least to carbon emissions."
