Kathy Hilton reflected on her sister Kyle Richards’ effortless bond with Morgan Wade while giving rare insights into their relationship.
“They are very good friends,” Hilton, 64, told Extra in an interview published Tuesday, noting that they connected over their similar experiences.
“Morgan had a mastectomy and my mother had breast cancer. Kyle really liked her music and hearing what she was going through, they clicked,” Hilton added.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star also shared that both the friends look out for each other when it comes to sobriety.
“Morgan is sober and Kyle decided not to drink anymore, so I think they have been a really good influence on each other and I think they are enjoying each other,” Hilton said, before stressing, “And that’s all I know.”
Hilton said that she has spent time with Wade, 28, and Richards, 54, together and has enjoyed the country singer’s company.
“Kyle brought Morgan over and we spent a lot of time together,” she said, noting, “I really, really like her.”
She even said that Wade brought a tattoo artist over so Hilton and Richards could get matching ink to celebrate their reconciliation after feuding on last year’s installment of their Bravo show.
“Kyle and I are back together, and I wanted to do something and bond, so we did my favorite, which is a four-leaf clover, so it’s special,” Hilton said.
Hilton explained that she just wants the best for Richards and everyone else in her family.
“All I want her to be is happy,” she said. The children are the most important, my nieces, and Kyle deserves to be happy, she is a wonderful mother and a wonderful wife, she deserves to be happy, she’s worked hard.”
Richards and Wade started hanging out over the summer amid the “RHOBH” star’s separation from husband Mauricio Umansky.
While fans have speculated that Richards and Wade were in a romantic relationship, the reality star denied the rumors and told paparazzi in July that they were just “very good friends.”
They have grown so close that the “Wilder Days” artist even got a tattoo of Richards’ initial.
It’s unclear how things will play out for Richards and Umansky, who separated after 27 years of marriage, Page Six confirmed in July.
The duo have continued to amicably co-parent their three daughters — Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia,15 — and the estranged pair even posed together for a festive family photo this week. They are even planning on spending Christmas together.
Richards also shares a daughter Farrah, 35, with ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie.
