With the new update, Siri can now access Health app data and also note users’ health metrics. The update also ensures better privacy of Health app data and convenient execution of Siri requests.

With the latest iOS 17.2, iPadOS 17.2, and watchOS 10.2 update, Siri has also received an important upgrade. Apple’s voice assistant can now access the data in the Health app and even log user’s health metrics.

As per Apple’s official blog post, Siri can now answer more than 20 queries related to the Health app data. This includes requests related to Move ring, step count, heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, and more. Further, Siri can also log health data for users. For instance, users can ask Siri to note their weight, blood sugar levels, blood pressure, medications, and other metrics.

At the moment, these new Siri features are available on Apple Watch Series 9 (curr. US$449 on Amazon), Apple Watch Ultra 2, iPhone, and iPad1. With the new on-device processing, Siri requests are executed without users’ Health app data leaving the device, which adds a layer of privacy.

In addition to this, the much-awaited iOS 17.2 update has also introduced the new Journal app, support for spatial video recording, and other interesting updates.
