The Blackview BV9300 Pro is a new, particularly robust Android smartphone with a powerful Samsung camera and is likely to be launched onto the market with a large amount of RAM.
The market for rugged smartphones is anything but small and is growing. The BV9300 Pro is a new rugged smartphone from well-known manufacturer Blackview and is said to have a number of practical features. As usual, the smartphone is advertised as being certified according to IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H standards, so it should be well protected against ingresses of dust and water and be able to withstand falls. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 is installed to protect the 6.7-inch screen with its resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels and 120-Hz refresh rate. A second display is also installed, which can be used to display a clock, for example.
The SoC is a MediaTek Helio G99, which combines two Cortex A76 and six Cortex A55 cores. Depending on the model version selected, 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM is installed. According to the manufacturer, a particularly bright flashlight can be found on the back, and the ISOCEL GW3 sensor from Samsung has a resolution of 64 MP. The GD2 sensor for the 32 MP front camera also comes from Samsung.
The impressively large 15,080 mAh battery can be charged quickly with up to 33 watts. At dimensions of 184.6 x 85.6 x 22.8 millimeters and a weight of an impressive 525 grams, the Blackview BV9300 Pro is neither particularly compact nor light. The operating system used is Doke OS 4.0, based on Android 13. Expansion of the memory or dual SIM operation is possible. Precise details about the price or release date are not yet available.
