Congrats are in order for Demi Lovato!
The “Sorry” singer is engaged to musician Jutes after one year of dating, Page Six can confirm.
Jutes (real name: Jordan Lutes) proposed to Lovato Saturday in Los Angeles with a massive pear-shaped diamond solitaire engagement ring from Material Good.
The lovebirds – who both rocked all-black ensembles – appeared happier than ever in their low-key engagement photo shoot, gazing up at each other adoringly while a photographer snapped their pics.
The simple but romantic setting featured a black curtain with rose petals and candles lining the floor.
“I’m still speechless. last night was the best night of my life and I can’t believe I get to marry the love of my life @jutesmusic..,” Lovato, 31, later wrote on Instagram.
“My love, I’m beyond excited to marry you.. every day I’ve spent with you has been a dream come true and I can’t wait to love and cherish you forever. Here’s to the rest of our lives. I love you baby 🥰.”
Jutes, 32, echoed those sentiments in his own post, writing, “Yesterday i asked my best friend to marry me and she said yes. i can’t imagine my life without you and thank god now i’ll never have to. feeling like the luckiest man alive right now. i’m so in love with you @ddlovato 🖤.”
According to People, the newly engaged couple headed to one of their favorite LA restaurants to celebrate with their families following the “personal and intimate” proposal.
Lovato and Jutes have been romantically linked since August 2022, nearly two years after the “Camp Rock” alum (who uses she/they pronouns) ended her first engagement with actor Max Ehrich.
They made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy gala at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif., in February.
Now, over a year later, the two haven’t been able to stop gushing over each other. Jutes recently marveled over Lovato in celebration of her 31st birthday on Aug. 20.
“Happy birthday to my best friend. you’re obvs the most beautiful and talented person to ever do it. but more importantly you’re weird af and u make me cry laughing,” he captioned a PDA-packed carousel of pics and videos via Instagram at the time.

“Your heart has changed lives all over the planet… especially some dude from a farm in canada who wound up in your session over a year ago. i didn’t know the perfect person existed until i met u,” he continued. “But now that i do, i’m gunna spend the rest of my life protecting u and doing whatever i can to squeeze another smile n belly laugh outta u. i couldn’t be more proud to call u my baby.”
Ahead of their engagement, Lovato also recently spoke about her relationship with Jutes when she was a guest on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” earlier this month.
The Disney Channel alum told host Jennifer Hudson that she met her now-fiancé in the recording studio when she was working on her 2022 album, “Holy Fv-k.” The alternative musician helped her co-write a few of the songs featured on her eighth studio album, including “Substance.”
“We worked really well together and we’re also just super in love,” Lovato shared. “It’s amazing to find someone that you just laugh with and that you get to make music with. It’s just so special.”
