Wondering when is the next Fortnite Season? This is everything we know about when Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 will likely arrive.

Thanks to the newest additions in the current chapter in Fortnite, players have been keeping themselves busy building houses on LEGO Fortnite, jamming in Fortnite Festival, and even playing the usual Battle Royale with some of the new weapons. With that in mind, those who have been grinding their XP and completing all their Battle Pass levels may be wondering when the next season could potentially arrive.

After all, part of what makes Fortnite so fun is anticipating what the game has to offer next. Will there be a new crossover? Maybe a new OP weapon similar to the Ballistic Shield? Or perhaps a killer Battle Pass? All we know so far is that the game seems to have a lot in the works.

Regardless of how the next season or chapter in our beloved island will turn out, here’s when you can expect the next season to drop in Fortnite.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 End Date

On average, Fortnite seasons tend to last around three months. Assuming the game follows this pattern from previous seasons, we can expect Chapter 5, Season 1, to end on Friday, March 8, 2024. The reason why this date matters is because generally, the next season would start just a few hours after the previous season ends.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Start Date

Chapter 5 Season 2 will possibly arrive on March 8, 2024, the same day Chapter 5 Season 1 ends. As usual, players can expect a few hours of downtime in between. Big season updates like this tend to have around three hours of downtime on average to prepare for the next big content update before it goes live.

What to Expect in the Next Season

Considering the current chapter isn’t even halfway done yet, there’s little information regarding what the next chapter will offer. However, rumors suggest that the theme for the next chapter will be based on Greek Mythology. Chances are we might be seeing Ares, Athena, Artemis, and other Greek Mythology-inspired skins as part of the newest cosmetics.
