iQOO India has announced that the Neo9 Pro will power its 2024 soon. The Android smartphone will be available in its most distinctive two-toned colorway when unleashed on its new market. It will also bring a high-refresh-rate screen driven by the MediaTek Dimensity series’ most powerful chipset of 2023 and fast charging with it on that date – hopefully.
The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are now available in India – however, Dimensity 9300 fans might be torn between one of these new smartphones and an upcoming alternative from iQOO. The brand has confirmed that the Neo9 Pro, which has just launched with the flagship-grade chipset in China, is on the way to a new market.
The Pro variant of the Neo9 series also benefits from an OLED display that is faster on paper than those of the X100 series with its 144Hz refresh rate. It is also equipped with 120W charging, not to mention a unique colorway made up of vegan leather in 2 different colors and textures. Then again, the X100 Pro might have the better cameras of the 9300-powered bunch.
Then again, iQOO’s history of shipping Neo-series smartphones in India under the wrong names might cast doubt that the Neo9 Pro will arrive as iQOO’s newest smartphone of February 2024 with all its original specs. It is possible that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered Neo9 might arrive in its place – then again, it has all of the Pro’s other main performance-related features, although it is likely to run Funtouch OS rather than OriginOS on its upcoming launch.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
