The V3 will sport a 28 W Ryzen 7 8840U processor with 8 Zen4 cores, integrated Radeon 780M and powerful XDNA NPU, along with a high-quality 14-inch touchscreen, up to 32 GB RAM and 2 TB storage. Pricing info is expected to be revealed by late March.
Minisforum detailed most of the specs for the Surface-like V3 convertible back in early January, but the exact APU remained a mystery, even though all the specs were pointing to a “Hawk Point” Ryzen 7 8840U. It took more than a month for the company to finally confirm that the APU is indeed the R7 8840U, most likely because the company was not sure if it can secure enough units. Additionally, Minisforum fulfills its promise to launch the device in Q1 2024 with a more precise release window scheduled for late March.
