A week before the SAG Awards, Hollywood’s biggest stars traveled to England for the 2024 BAFTA Awards, otherwise known as the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards.
Of course, they might as well have called it the Oppenheimer and Poor Things awards, with both films sweeping nearly every category they were nominated in. Congratulations are especially in order for Emma Stone, who took home the leading actress BAFTA for her portrayal of Bella Baxter in the Yorgos Lanthimos film. There were also some big wins for The Holdovers, with Da’Vine Joy Randolph securing supporting actress win (hopefully, something she’ll repeat at this year’s Oscars).
While Barbie didn’t score in any of the five categories it was up for, Margot Robbie was certainly a winner on the red carpet in her Barbie pink satin and black sequins Armani Privé gown. Let’s be honest, most of us are here for the outfit breakdowns anyway. Without further ado, here are all of the best red carpet looks at the 2024 BAFTA Awards, including two peach standouts from Ayo Edibiri and Stone, whose custom Louis Vuitton dress took 450 hours to perfect.
