David Pegram is a fitness trainer, coach, and chef in New York City, who two years ago, started Keep Your Life Optimal (KYLO), which provides online training and coaching to clients who are aiming to become leaner and more muscular. Today, KYLO is profitable, and Pegram is looking to expand its client reach in the coming year.
Here, this Strength In Diversity trainer speaks with Pete Hill, a vice president of product at The Hartford, a company specializing in small business insurance, about potential risks that may arise as he scales his business. One of the things Pegram is considering is hiring contractors as assistant coaches, so he can add more clients to the business. Hill discusses with him the different types of liability insurance he will need to cover these contractors, as well as full-time employees and even himself.
Find out what considerations Hill has identified for Pegram to be aware of as he grows his profitable business, and the solutions available to him, in the video above.
