EDM DJ deadmau5 is celebrating Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) with a new ‘Immer5ive Experience’ located a few minutes off the Las Vegas strip.
The four-day pop-up shop will be in town for EDC, while the rest of the deadmau5 ‘immer5ive experience’ will be an eight-week long activation celebrating the artist. It launches on May 16 and will be available through July 11, taking over AREA15’s Museum Fiasco. Fans can walk through a delight of visuals themed from past mau5shop experiences.
The piggyback is certain to draw traffic from dance and electronica fans milling around Vegas, especially with EDC 2024’s star-stacked lineup (deadmau5 himself plays a set on Sunday).
Alongside the ‘immer5ive experience’ launch, mau5trap will host ‘mau5hop Las Vegas in The Wall area of AREA15. The pop-up shop will be open to the public during EDC festival week May 16-19 from noon to 10 pm daily. deadmau5 will be in attendance for a signing on Sunday, May 19 from 6:30pm – 8 pm. The shop will carry exclusive merchandise including mystery plush keychains, mau5-themed rubik cubes, posters, t-shirts, hoodies, and pins.

deadmau5 will also appear at Electric Daisy Carnival on May 19 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. EDC Promoter Insomniac says it expects attendance of 525,000 festivalgoers this year across the three-day weekend. Some of the talent performing at EDC 2024 include Tiesto, David Guetta, Kaskade, and Diplo.
Also taking the stage include acts like Illenium, Purple Disco Machine, John Summit, FISHER, Dillon Francis, Adventure Club, Zedd, Steve Aoki, and DJ Snake. Several artists will have their debut at EDC including Peggy Gou, Four Tet, Mersiv, Sarah Landry, Lilly Palmer, and more.
EDC this year will feature a country installation called YeEDC Saloon with a new round of artists performing. Insomniac says several new art installations and improved traffic flow should help improve the experience for festivalgoers this year.
