Despicable Me 4 Streaming Release Date

Despicable Me 4 will eventually be released on Peacock, followed by Netflix. As per Universal’s streaming arrangements for animated movies, Despicable Me 4 will be available on Peacock for four months before moving to Netflix for the next 10 months. It will then return to Peacock for four additional months before being made available on Prime Video.

Universal has yet to announce a streaming release date for Despicable Me 4. Two of Universal’s latest animated releases — Kung Fu Panda 4 and Trolls Band Together — came to Peacock between three and four months after their theatrical debuts. Should the distributor follow suit here, Despicable Me 4 would come to Peacock by the end of October.

What Is Despicable Me 4 About?

Despicable Me 4, the series’ first mainline entry in seven years, continues the adventures of supervillain-turned-Anti-Villain League-agent Gru and his Minions. Here’s the official synopsis from Universal:

[Despicable Me] begins a new chapter as Gru and Lucy and their girls — Margo, Edith, and Agnes — welcome a new member to the Gru family, Gru Jr., who is intent on tormenting his dad.

Gru faces a new nemesis in Maxime Le Mal and his femme fatale girlfriend Valentina, and the family is forced to go on the run.

How to Watch Previous Despicable Me Movies

All three Despicable Me movies and each of the two Minons movies are available to stream online. The mainstream series can be streamed in its entirety on Peacock, while the Minions movies are split between Netflix and Prime Video.
