WHEN WE SOUGHT OUT to find the best running sneakers of 2024, it was no surprise that Nike, Hoka, Brooks, and Saucony rose to the top of our list. If you’re trail running, you’ll need to slip into sneakers with a bit more grip for maximum stability while you log miles. The Hoka Speegoat 5 GTXs are a good place to start. The GTXs are an upgrade from the standard Speedgoat 5, adding waterproofing to the outer materials, so you can fly through even the muddiest of trails. On sale, you’ll also find the Saucony Endorphine Edges, which offer a 6mm heel drop, a built-in rocker, and a 3/4 carbon fiber plate, so you can push your pace.
