Frontier reportedly considering renewed merger talks with Spirit Airlines

More than two years after a merger deal fell apart, Frontier Airlines is considering another run at acquiring Spirit Airlines, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday night.

According to the Journal, Spirit is negotiating potential bankruptcy terms with its bondholders, and has been seeking options to restructure its balance sheet.
