Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Is Still Getting A New Map Next Month

Prior to the extremely rocky launch of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, developer KT Racing committed to a year one roadmap for the game, and now the first major content drop of that roadmap is upon us – the return of Ibiza.

Now dated for December 11th, Ibiza returns from TDU2; as Solar Crown’s second open world map. The new playable area launches alongside the game’s second season, which is set to bring a new Solar Pass, new cars, new clan progression levels and more.

With this new map first being announced before the underwhelming launch of the game, and delays to fix basic features, we were half expecting this update to be delayed into next year – but nope, it’s coming in just a few weeks’ time here on Dec. 11th.

A few months ago now, we reviewed the base game on Xbox Series X, and came away largely disappointed with Nacon’s new open world racer. You can read through our full review on Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown down below – and here’s hoping that Ibiza’s arrival is a real turning point for this Xbox title.

Anyone here still interested in this? Tell us if you’re jetting off to Ibiza next month down in the comments.
