Samsung is projected to release the Galaxy M15 as one of its next budget Android smartphones in 2024. However, the OEM is also now tipped to launch a 4G/LTE version of an existing 2023 device beforehand. The non-5G Galaxy M14 is believed to join its similar-looking sibling on the Indian market soon.
The Galaxy M14 was only made available as a 5G smartphone in 2023, currently retailing for INR 12,490 (~$151) on Amazon.in. However, it seems the OEM has only gotten around to preparing for its 4G/LTE-only counterpart’s launch in 2024.
The device in question is thought to have the same specs as the Galaxy A05s, yet to be re-branded as the Galaxy M14 for the Indian market. Now, the discovery of the same product name, with its model number SM-M145FZBHINS to boot, on Samsung India’s online support database seems to confirm that it will launch soon with 6GB of RAM.
Like the M14 5G, it is thought to look like a budget version of the Galaxy S23 due to its waterdrop-notched screen – as is the Galaxy F14 4G, an allegedly subsequent device with the same specs and design. A user manual that pertains to both it and the M14 4G appears to confirm that state of affairs, suggesting that the entire mini-series of smartphones might be complete soon, however belatedly.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
