Former Broadway star and rising country music singer-songwriter Brooke Moriber unveils her latest single, “More Love,” a song that reminds listeners of what we can do together by simply opening our hearts.
The lyrics tell the tale: “We need more love, maybe more than ever / We need more us, coming back together / More of what we’re here to do / This crazy world is living proof / We need more – more love!”
After getting her start at a young age professionally performing on Broadway, Moriber turned to songwriting as a teenager to cope with losing her eyesight to a rare eye disease. When the disease went into remission after a difficult four years, she began traveling to Nashville to tell her own stories, followed by releasing her debut single, “Cry Like A Girl.”
Signed to Nashville’s Reviver Records, Moriber’s music appeared on Spotify’s New Music Friday Country and Country Christmas playlists, Sirius XM’s Velvet, CMT online, Music Choice Network, and the Music Row Country Breakout radio chart.
Moriber recently released her self-titled album and launched “Nashville in New York”, a series of Nashville-style songwriters’ rounds sponsored by Music Choice Network bringing some of country music’s top talents to the iconic Bitter End in her hometown New York City.
Brooke will perform at Live In The Vineyard Goes Country (LITVGC), on April 23rd – 25th, 2024 in Napa Valley, CA. The 2024 LITVGC lineup also includes Scotty McCreery, Rodney Atkins, Sara Evans, Drew Baldridge, Laura Bryna, Anderson Daniels, Wesley Dean, The Dryes, ERNEST, Larry Fleet, Elliot Greer, Kelsey Hart, Scotty Hasting, Levi Hummon, LoCash, MacKenzie Porter, Charly Reynolds, Lily Rose, Runaway June, and Hailey Whitters.
On Saturday, May 11, Moriber and friends return once again to the legendary The Bitter End on Bleecker Street in NYC for the third installment of the new bi-monthly Songwriters in the Round series ‘Nashville in New York (NINY),’ featuring songwriter Emily Shackelton and Victoria Banks.
May 16-19, Moriber will perform at the Montauk Music Festival in Montauk, New York.
“More Love” rolls out on creamy, sparkling tones topped by Moriber’s deliciously evocative voice. As the melody takes on resonance and silky-smooth weight, her vocals elevate, soaring upwards, drenched in potent timbres dripping with urgent passion. Elusive drawling surfaces give Moriber’s voice an alluring savor.
Synthesizing country and hints of pop, with “More Love,” Brooke Moriber offers a charming song revealing her luminous mezzo-soprano.
